SUMMARY:2025 Adelaide Autumn Drive Day - Registration Closed
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED\nTo keep up to date with DAD news and be first to hear about upcoming events\, please subscribe to our newsletter (subscription form is at the bottom of our homepage)\nFor event planning and partnership enquiries\, please email Sarah via sarah@driveagainstdepression.com.au \n  \nWhy We Drive \nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. They hold the intention to normalise mental health problems and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. We know that connection is vital for mental wellbeing\, and DAD events deliver this in spades.  \nDAD isn’t a club\, it’s a community. Please don’t feel you need to have a particular model or age of car to attend – if you love it\, bring it.  \nOur drive days are strictly social and non-competitive. We use open roads and carefully plan our drive routes to make them as safe and logical as possible\, while using engaging roads with new scenery for a great day out.  \nWe advocate for using DAD drive days as an inclusive environment to start your mental health conversation where you feel comfortable to do so\, however DAD drive days are not a crisis service and keeping everyone safe on the road is of utmost importance.  \n  \nWhat’s Happening for the Adelaide Autumn Drive Day in April 2025?  \nIf your 2025 so far has been anything <a class="keys_words" href="https://www.jmksport.com/adahavshop/">nike air force 1 uv color change da8301 100 101 release date</a> like ours\, the pace of this first quarter has been wild. DAD Founder Adam Davis has teamed up with motoring journalists and Adelaide Local Legends Stuart Martin and Patrick Jackson to create a relaxed Sunday cruise from Aberfoyle Park to Strathalbyn. \nThis drive day will be a laid-back\, social event. It will follow the format of our traditional events – starting with morning briefing\, then cruising to our end location at Collectable Classics in Strathalbyn. Here we’ll be treated to a private viewing of their fantastically diverse <a class="keys_words" href="https://www.ietp.com/fr/dfejcashop/">nike air jordan 1 factory outlet</a> range of wish-list vehicles and hear from our guest speaker.  \nAfter our drive and time at Collectable Classics\, the group will head home\, either their own way or by taking advantage of one of the optional return routes drafted by Stuart and Patrick.  \n  \nEvent Supporter \nWe’re on the hunt for an Event Supporter for this event! Are you interested? We’d love to chat. Please email Sarah via sarah@driveagainstdepression.com.au \n  \nWe look forward to seeing you at our next event!  \n  \n*Event Terms & Conditions

Alongside meaningful connections\, normalised mental health conversations\, and wellness education\, these truly unique motoring experiences created memories that will last a lifetime and were high points in the year. \nWe know how important it is to have something special to look forward to and fond memories to reflect on\, and it’s been incredible to see how often these sold-out events have appeared in participant highlight wraps for 2024! To start 2025 on a high\, we’re delivering another highlight-worthy premier event and we’d love to share the experience with you. \n  \nThis Drive\nThe Melbourne Summer Drive Day starts at Westerfolds Park\, Templestowe. Here we’ll gather for sign-in\, chats and our morning briefings. DAD event briefings are so much more than an update on the drive route. The time we spend at our start location is fundamental to what makes DAD events different – it’s where community is built\, connections are fostered\, and conversations start. This time sets the intention for our event. Plus\, you’ll be introduced to our event guest speaker. \nWe invite you to arrive at briefing with sufficient time to check out the cars and chat with others\, or simply to allow yourself the space to land at our event and be present for yourself. \nAfter briefing\, Stage 1 of the drive cruises us to Yea for morning tea\, then Stage 2 loops us through Tallarook and Strath Creek to end at the spectacular Flowerdale Estate. \n  \nThe Destination & Lunch\nWe’re incredibly privileged to conclude our drive at the award-winning Flowerdale Estate\, located in regional Victoria’s scenic Valley of a Thousand Hills. Built in 1842\, the historic Homestead sits at the heart of the 106-acre estate\, surrounded by blossoming gardens\, lush lawns and spectacular rolling hills. \nUse of this dream venue has been generously donated by the team at Flowerdale Estate. Claire and the Flowerdale Estate team see the importance of DAD’s mental health mission and have been working with the DAD team to deliver a special experience for the DAD community. \nFlowerdale Estate’s Michelin Star experienced Executive Chef Dominic Grundy and his team of chefs are serving a two-course seated luncheon for our hungry crews\, including a variety of starters\, a feasting-style main meal and soft drink on arrival. \nTo begin: \nFlowerdale house made dip selection warmed breads\, pita\, crisp biscuit and crackers\nRoast red pepper\, confit garlic\, goats feta\, green onion (GF)\nSpiced green chilli curry\, cashew and coconut\, lime (contains nuts and shellfish)\nSesame tahini chickpea hummus\, olive oil\, cumin (GF\, DF) \nMain Meal: \nA feasting style main meal with substantial sides to share and a main plate \n  \nWhy We Drive\nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. SUMMARY:2024 Adelaide Spring Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN!\nRegistration Closes Saturday 16th November\, 4:00pm \n  \nWhy We Drive \nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. Please don’t feel you need to have a particular model or age of car to attend – if it’s registered and you love it\, bring it. \n  \nWhat’s Happening for the Adelaide Spring Drive Day in November 2024?  \nThis drive day will be a laid-back\, social event. It will follow the format of our traditional events – starting with morning briefing\, driving to morning tea for a break and chat\, then cruising a bit further along our drive route to end at The National Motor Museum in Birdwood.  \nWe’re selecting some sensational driving roads that will lead us to Birdwood\, and we know that coupled with some great company and conversations\, this will be a brilliant event for our second cruise in Adelaide.  \n  \nSpecial Guest \nOver the past few months we have been in discussions with the team at StandBy Support After Suicide. This is an incredible national service that supports anyone who has been bereaved or impacted by suicide.  \nLiked DAD\, StandBy is a service that was created based on lived experience. While StandBy is primarily a postvention service\, we know that those impacted by suicide are at significantly increased risk of mental health difficulties and suicide. As such\, the StandBy services and education also lead into prevention and encourage those experiencing grief or loss to reach out for help. \nWe are excited to welcome the Adelaide StandBy team to this event and learn about their services and how to refer or self refer. Additionally\, we’ll be sharing more news about our wider partnership with StandBy.  \n \n  \nEvent details are as follows: \nWhen: Sunday 17th November 2024\nStart location: Belair\nArrival from 8:30am\nBriefing at 9:30am \nHitting the road by 10:00am\nMorning tea: approximately 11:00am\nEnd location: National Motor Museum\, Birdwood \nThe full event details and drive route pack will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event.  \n  \nEvent Partner \nFor each event\, we invite partnerships to create shared impact and help make sure our drives hit the road. As a volunteer-run registered charity\, we operate based on the commitment of our wonderful team\, and we are seeking financial resourcing to support that.  \nWe have witnessed the capacity of DAD events to change lives. We know what it means to our community to have these safe spaces and opportunities for connection in a way that isn’t offered elsewhere. We have big plans for supporting our community and creating lasting impact\, and partnerships help significantly with our capacity to achieve that vision.  \nIf you or your business are interested in discussing partnership opportunities or understanding more about the options (of which there are several)\, please contact Sarah via sarah@driveagainstdepression.com.au \n  \nHow to Participate \nPop the date in your diary and gather your mates! \nThere are no minimum car requirements to join this cruise – if it’s registered and you love it\, bring it along.  \nRegistrations are now open\, please complete the details below. \nThe donation and registration fields are below for your use\, and event terms and conditions are at the bottom of this page. \nAs a registered charity we are proud to offer tax deductibility for your donations\, and thank you for your generosity which allows us to provide these important events. \n*If you’re interested in supporting as a DAD Local Legend or sponsor\,  please let us know in the “Additional Comments” section on the below form.  \n  \n\n*Event Terms & Conditions

We’re thrilled to offer a unique Drive Day for our Sunshine State crew on 2nd June 2024\, where our drive will conclude at the Bowden Car Collection on the Sunshine Coast – a stunning collection of rare and unique cars owned by the crew at Bowden’s Own. \nWith the support of Bowden’s Own\, we’re cruising through the lesser-travelled roads of the Sunshine Coast to end with a charity tour of the Bowden’s private car collection. This is a spectacular opportunity that is no longer offered to the general public\, so we are incredibly grateful to the team at Bowden’s Own for inviting our DAD drive participants in for a look at their private collection. \nThe Bowden family shares our passion for driving mental wellness – they also understand how important it is to have something to look forward to and the positive impact that has on mental health. We extend our gratitude to the Bowden’s for offering this truly memorable experience.  \n> Places are fully subscribed for this event and registration is now closed.\n> The participant pack will be provided to all registered participants on Friday 31st May. \n  \n  \n  \n*Event Terms & Conditions

SUMMARY:* Registration Closed * 2023 Winter Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:>> Registration is now closed for DAD’s Winter Drive Day. Our Spring Drive Day is now open for registration via this link\, we’d love to see you there!  \n  \nWhy We Drive \nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. This is such an impactful part of our event – it’s so much more than a functional run-through of the drive route. \nMorning briefing brings participants together\, breaks down barriers\, sets the tone for the day\, and invites meaningful and non-judgmental conversations and connections. The DAD community is built on the commonality of cars and driving\, and our time at briefing uses this universal leveler in a way creates conversation safety and removes confrontation. This time and what it offers is what sets DAD events apart from others. We invite you join us and experience it for yourself.  \nUsually at our briefing we are privileged to hear from Olly Bridge who shares advice\, stories and tools for noticing when mental health needs our extra attention\, and how to integrate small and achievable practices into our lives to build positive change. We consistently receive requests for more time to soak in Olly’s wise words\, so for this event\, we’ll be hosted by the excellent team at YTG where Olly will be awaiting our arrival to deliver an exclusive keynote presentation. \n \n  \nKeynote Presentation – Olly Bridge \nWe are incredibly humbled to have Olly as cornerstone of our Mental Wellness Network\, and for him to deliver a longer form presentation for our community at our Winter Drive Day is an honour. \nThe format of the 2023 Winter event has been adapted to accommodate this invaluable opportunity\, so while Olly will be a notable absence at our morning briefing\, he will be awaiting our arrival at YTG to deliver an exclusive presentation for the DAD community. Rather than an outdoor carpark gathering to hear Olly’s words\, we’ll be hosted by the team at YTG\, and this presentation will be delivered amongst a dream-worthy collection of automotive history.  \nAs a uniquely experienced Exercise Physiologist\, Olly’s career spans roles in Formula One and Olympic Gymnastics\, blended with extraordinary success in creating high performance corporate and athletic teams. Olly has harnessed the power of Sustainable Peak Performance and honed it into a dynamic methodology that extends far beyond the sports arena\, and he delivers his expertise in a style that’s relatable and memorable…we guarantee you’ll leave our day with more than a few gems of inspiration.  \nFind out more about Olly’s work via LinkedIn and his website.  \n \n  \nWe’re excited to share this very special event with you! \nPlease register below to attend our 2023 Winter Drive Day. \nWhen: Sunday 30th July 2023\nApproximate Time: Briefing to commence at 9:30am.\nStart location and briefing: Lilydale \nFinish location: Young Timers Garage (YTG)\, Keysborough\nPresentation by Olly Bridge: 11:30am \nThe full event details and drive route pack will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event.  \n  \nHow to Participate \nPop the date in your diary and gather your mates! \nStep 1 – Donate \n\n\n \n\n\n  \nStep 2 – Register Your Details \nRegistration for this event is now closed. \n*Event Terms & Conditions

The focus DAD events are always connection and community. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. We know that connection is vital for mental wellbeing – whether that’s connection with mates\, with hobbies\, or with ourselves. \nDAD drive days offer the ideal judgement-free opportunity for all-important connection and community\, and hold the intention to normalise mental health problems and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support.  \nRegistered participants are provided with the drive route\, navigation notes and full event details ahead of the day. Drive days begin with a morning briefing (and optional but much welcomed coffee!) where we come together to chat through the drive plan and hear from one of our Mental Wellness Network specialists. \nAfter briefing we head off to our morning tea point by following the event drive route. Hard copy navigation notes are provided for those who prefer this format and are sharing the drive with a mate\, we also offer electronic mapping for solo drivers or those who’d prefer to focus on the driving and the conversation rather than course notes. \nAt morning tea we take a break and have a chat\, then continue on to our finish point and group lunch. Lunch is the end to the set drive route\, everyone takes their own pace at lunch and makes their way home when ready. This allows enough time to enjoy the day and still be home for a Sunday evening relax or to prepare for the week ahead. \n \n  \nWhat DAD Drive Days are Not \nCompetitive\, timed\, driven in strict convoy or exclusive. \n \n  \nReady? SUMMARY:DAD Studio Day
DESCRIPTION:Every car enthusiast wants a special photo of their pride and joy\, and with that in mind we’ve organised a very special vehicle photo shoot for the DAD community! \nDrive Against Depression has teamed up with Digital Fuel Productions and Studio Revolution to offer the unique opportunity to capture studio portraits of your vehicle.  \nStudio photography brings focus to the unique elements of your car\, free from the distractions and variables of an outdoor shoot. To organise this style of professional photography independently\, the cost of studio access\, admin\, setup\, photography\, and retouching would make it quite the expensive photo! \n \nThis collaboration offers all of this on a professionally coordinated day at a fraction of the price of a typical studio shoot. You’ll be presented with stunning photos and a unique experience while supporting Drive Against Depression’s important mental health mission.  \nOn the day\, the precision photography team will manoeuvre your vehicle into position on the cyclorama’s 3-tonne turntable\, with the lighting and positioning pre-set for the perfect shot. \nWe ask that you wash your car before joining us at the studio\, and suggest bringing a few cleaning products to give it a “touch up” before we take it into the cyclorama. \n  \nOffering packages to suit your preference and budget\, it’s your choice which shots to order.  We’ll capture: \n  \n\nFront 3/4\nRear 3/4\nFront 3/4 with you included in the shot\n\n  \nChoose one\, both or all three! Pricing is as follows: \n  \n\n3 shots – $247\n2 shots – $178\nSingle shot – $99\n\n  \nPrint and Frame Options \n  \nWith generous support from Xpress Images\, we have four high quality print and frame options available. We’re very grateful to the Xpress Images team for getting behind this charity fundraiser by directing order proceeds back into DAD and offering our community a brilliant quality product to enjoy for years to come.  \nThe frames are Australian made and Australian wood in classic black to suit all prints and spaces.  \n\n\n\nOption\nPrint Size\nPrint Only\nFramed Print\n\n\n1\n6 inch x 8 inch\nApprox A5\n15cm x 20cm\n$20\n$60\n\n\n2\n8 inch x 12 inch\nApprox A4\n20cm x 30cm\n$30\n$90\n\n\n3\n12 inch x 18 inch\nApprox A3\n30cm x 46cm\n$40\n$170\n\n\n4\n16 inch x 24 inch\nSmall poster\n40cm x 60cm\n$60\n$250\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n\nYes please\, I’m in! SUMMARY:** Fully Booked** 2023 DAD Summer Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your support! This event is now fully booked and closed for registrations. Our next drive is the DAD Autumn Drive Day on Sunday 23rd April in partnership with our good friends at Berwick Ford. Please click here to register your interest in attending and be first to receive event announcements. \n  \n— \nBring on Summer and the new year\, we’re ready for a drive! \nDAD’s much loved seasonal drives are back in 2023\, bringing opportunities for great roads\, great company and normalised conversations about mental health. \nWhat Happens at a DAD Drive Day? \nFor our community\, driving is freedom. Hard copy navigation notes are provided for those who prefer this format and are sharing the drive with a mate\, we also offer electronic mapping for solo drivers or those who’d prefer to focus on the driving and the chat rather than course notes. \n \nWhat DAD Drive Days are Not \nCompetitive\, timed\, driven in strict convoy or exclusive. \n \nReady? Let’s Drive!  \nRegistrations are now open for our 2023 Summer Drive Day. \nWhen: Sunday 29th January 2023 \nApproximate Time: Briefing to commence at 9:00am. Arrival is welcome any time from 8:30am. We aim to finish around 1:30pm. \nLocation: Starting from BP Southbound on the Geelong Ring Road (Calvino coffee) \nMorning Tea: Approximately 11:00am at Barwon Downs Park. Picnic space and toilets are available. Please bring a self-catered morning tea. \nLunch: Available at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie\, which is our finish point. Please indicate in your registration if you are intending to join the group lunch so we can book space accordingly. \nCrew Needed \nWe are seeking two Event Legends to volunteer for this event. This might involve selling raffle tickets at briefing\, helping welcome participants upon arrival or setting up the DAD flag\, etc.\, plus any other way in which you might like to contribute! Please reach out via connect@driveagainstdepression.com.au if you are able to support this event. \nWe look forward to cruising together! \nHow to Participate \nPop the date in your diary and gather your mates! \nRegistrations are now open\, please complete the details below. \nFor DAD to continue offering events and mental health support we gratefully welcome your donation to join this drive. \nStep 1: Donate \n\n\n \n\n\nStep 2 : Register your attendance \n\n*Event Terms & Conditions
