Molly is one of Australia’s most decorated rally champions\, and Daniel is a well-known automotive journalist and presenter. Together\, they have built MaD Garage\, which will be opened up to exclusively host our group. \nOnce we arrive at the Garage at the conclusion of our drive\, Molly and Daniel will provide a tour of their space and share motoring insights you won’t hear anywhere else. It’s set to be a truly memorable day and unique experience underpinned by our mission to support mental health through the freedom of driving.  \nTo further normalise mental health conversations and remove barriers to accessing help\, we’ve also invited a practitioner from our therapy partner\, Talked\, to join the day. The team has arranged a coffee cart and bacon and egg rolls for breakfast\, and they’re opening up the dealership for our crews to meet\, chat and look around some of the brilliant products on display.  \nAfter our briefing we’ll depart Sunshine Ford to cruise inland for our morning tea stop at Rosin’s Lookout. The lookout offers incredible views\, nearby cafes and the opportunity for a break before continuing our drive through Canunga to Tambourine Mountain. \nEnd Location\nFrom Tambourine Mountain our drive route takes us north to end at the Dick Johnson Racing headquarters. This is an incredible national service that supports anyone who has been bereaved or impacted by suicide.  \nLiked DAD\, StandBy is a service that was created based on lived experience. While StandBy is primarily a postvention service\, we know that those impacted by suicide are at significantly increased risk of mental health difficulties and suicide. As such\, the StandBy services and education also lead into prevention and encourage those experiencing grief or loss to reach out for help. \nWe are excited to welcome the Adelaide StandBy team to this event and learn about their services and how to refer or self refer. Participants are invited to bring their own picnic or purchase local produce in Meredith.
