SUMMARY:2026 Melbourne Autumn Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION NOW OPEN\n \nWith the Melbourne Summer Drive Day filling in record time\, we’ve opened registration early for our Melbourne Autumn event and would love to see you there.  \n  \n  \nWhy We Drive \nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. They hold the intention to normalise mental health challenges and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. We know that connection is vital for mental wellbeing\, and DAD events deliver this in spades.  \nDAD isn’t a club\, it’s a community. Please don’t feel you need to have a particular model or age of car to attend – if you love it\, bring it.  \nOur drive days are strictly social and non-competitive. We use open roads and carefully plan our drive routes to make them as safe and logical as possible\, while using engaging roads with interesting scenery for a great day out. Safe driving behaviour is a non-negotiable part of our event. Keeping everyone safe on the road is of utmost importance.  \nWe advocate for using DAD drive days as an inclusive environment to start your mental health conversation where you feel comfortable to do so\, however\, DAD drive days are not a crisis service.  \n  \nWhat’s Happening for the 2026 Melbourne Autumn Drive Day?  \nThe date is set\, the drive route is being planned\, so pop the date in your diary\, gather your mates\, and don’t forget to register below.  \nIn true Melbourne Autumn fashion\, we’ll be taking in the colour-changing scenery and some of Victoria’s best driving roads as we enjoy a community day centred around connection\, conversation and the shared love of motoring.  \nWhile the details are still being finalised\, we invite you to register early for this event and lock in the date. Our Melbourne Summer Drive Day was filled in record time\, and we’re looking forward to another memorable event in Autumn.  \nCheck out some of our previous Autumn events here\, and drop us a line if there’s somewhere you’d like to see us drive for this event!  \nWe’ll share additional event information via our website\, newsletter and socials shortly. The full participant pack\, drive route\, and individual Tourboss link will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event.  \n  \nDriving Mental Wellness Together \nEnsuring unique experiences for participants and creating memorable occasions that support mental wellness is what DAD events are all about. This is achievable through the involvement and generosity of event partners and supporters. From locations to drive routes\, raffle prizes to experiences\, catering and special inclusions\, there’s something different at each DAD event that sets it apart. If you or your business would like to view our current Supporter’s Pack and explore collaboration opportunities\, please send us an email via connect@driveagainstdepression.com.au or submit an enquiry\, and we’ll forward the details.  \n  \nHear DAD’s News and Event Announcements First \nTo keep up to date with news on our upcoming drives and mental wellness supports\, please subscribe to our newsletter. The form is at the bottom of our homepage at www.driveagainstdepression.com.au \n  \n\nWe look forward to driving with you soon!  \n*Event Terms & Conditions

Molly is one of Australia’s most decorated rally champions\, and Daniel is a well-known automotive journalist and presenter. Together\, they have built MaD Garage\, which will be opened up to exclusively host our group. \nOnce we arrive at the Garage at the conclusion of our drive\, Molly and Daniel will provide a tour of their space and share motoring insights you won’t hear anywhere else. It’s set to be a truly memorable day and unique experience underpinned by our mission to support mental health through the freedom of driving.  \nTo further normalise mental health conversations and remove barriers to accessing help\, we’ve also invited a practitioner from our therapy partner\, Talked\, to join the day. They’ll be able to answer questions about how Talked works\, what happens when you make an appointment\, and any other questions you might have about the service.  \n  \nMore about Molly Taylor and Daniel Gardner \nIn preparation for meeting Molly and Daniel\, we’d love for you to check out the MaD Garage YouTube channel\, and also view their documentary\, Drive Like a Girl. This part of our day is fundamental to what makes DAD events different – it’s where connections are made\, conversations are started <a class="keys_words" href="https://www.ietp.com/fr/dfejcashop/">nike outlet quarry market</a>\, and where we share practical and relatable mental health information. \nAfter briefing\, we’re heading to The Toolshed in Noojee for lunch. Those who joined our Autumn Drive Day last year will remember the stunning location\, made even more beautiful with the Autumn colours and friendly welcome from the team at The Toolshed. We invite participants to join us for a meal and a chat at the conclusion of the drive.  \nFor those who would like to extend the day with an additional drive after lunch\, we’ve suggested an optional drive route from The Toolshed to Blue Rock Dam. Please note this suggested drive is not part of the event drive route – the Melbourne Autumn Drive Day ends with lunch at The Toolshed. \nThe details of the full event drive route\, plus this optional extension\, will both be detailed in Tourboss for participants.  \n  \nLunch at The Toolshed Noojee \nThe team at The Toolshed did a wonderful job of looking after our group last year\, and they’re excited to again host the conclusion of our Autumn Drive Day. The full menu will be available\, participants are asked to order and pay individually upon arrival.  \n\nWhen: Sunday 4th May\, 2025\nStart location: Berwick Ford (749 Princes Highway\, Berwick VIC 3806) \nThe full event details and drive route pack will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event\, including individual Tourboss invitations.  \n\nRaffle Prizes \nPrize 1\nWith thanks to the team at Berwick Ford\, we have a brand new Mustang GT V8 and a Ranger Raptor experience up for grabs as our main raffle prize!  \nTwo lucky Prize 1 winners will have the opportunity to drive these new vehicles for the duration of our event.  \n  \nPrize 2\nThe team at The Toolshed Noojee\, have kindly donated a night’s accommodation in one of their newly refurbished wooden cabins. The cabins are designed for comfort and convenience and offer an ideal getaway location for our Prize 2 winner.  \n  \nHow to enter the raffle\nIt’s easy! \nWhen you buy your raffle tickets you’ll be entered into the draw for BOTH Prize 1 and Prize 2. \nSimply purchase your raffle tickets for your chance to win\, the winners will be announced at briefing on Sunday May 4th. \nRaffle tickets can be pre-purcahsed when registering to attend this event. After you’ve entered your driver and passenger details\, you’ll be prompted to make suggestions for our music playlist (which you can do or skip)\, then the next screen is where you can pre-purchase the raffle tickets. After this step\, you arrive at a screen to pay for your tickets and any donation to finalise the registration. \nAll raffle ticket purchases contribute to DAD delivering important community events and mental health supports. We thank you for your participation and support.  \n  \nEducation and Support \nAn important part of DAD’s mission is to provide our community with connections to professional mental health services and share the insights of lived experience experts. For this event\, we’re grateful to have StandBy Support After Suicide with us.  \nDAD and StandBy were both created based on the lived experience of their Founders and both share similarities of purpose – to provide a meaningful means of connection and support and reduce the risk factors associated with death by suicide.  \nStandBy Support After Suicide is a national service known as Australia’s leading postvention program dedicated to supporting people impacted or bereaved by suicide. \nIn Melbourne\, StandBy is delivered by Jesuit Social Services. As a national services we were proud to introduce our Adelaide community to StandBy in 2024\, and look forward to introducing our Melbourne community to Shaun Walsh. Shaun will introduce what StandBy does and how it can be accessed by anyone bereaved or impacted by suicide. \nThere’s no time limit on when the service can be accessed\, and Shaun will provide a brief introduction to how StandBy can support those experiencing grief.  \n \n  \nThe Melbourne Autumn Drive Day is now fully booked and closed for registration. \nIf you missed joining us this time we’d love to see you at our Winter Drive Day on 27th July! Registration for this event is now open on our website. Plus\, you can view our other upcoming events while you’re there. \nTo keep up to date with DAD news and be first to hear about upcoming events\, please subscribe to our newsletter (subscription form is at the bottom of our homepage) \nFor event planning and partnership enquiries\, please email Sarah via sarah@driveagainstdepression.com.au \n  \nWe look forward to seeing you at our next event!  \n  \n*Event Terms & Conditions

SUMMARY:2023 December Drive Day

They hold the intention to normalise mental health problems and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. We use open roads and carefully plan our drive routes to make them as safe and logical as possible\, while using engaging roads with new scenery for a great day out.  \nWe advocate for using DAD drive days as an inclusive environment to start your mental health conversation where you feel comfortable to do so\, however DAD drive days are not a crisis service and keeping everyone safe on the road is of utmost importance.  \n  \nWhat Happening for the December Drive Day?  \nThis Christmas Drive Day has been intentionally planned as relaxed\, easy and focused on conversation and connection. \nWe’re getting together for a laid back\, old fashioned DAD cruise to reconnect and look after ourselves before the end of year rush takes hold. SUMMARY:* Registration Closed * 2023 Winter Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:>> Registration is now closed for DAD’s Winter Drive Day. Our Spring Drive Day is now open for registration via this link\, we’d love to see you there!  \n  \nWhy We Drive \nDAD drive days are always about connection and community. They hold the intention to normalise mental health problems and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. This is such an impactful part of our event – it’s so much more than a functional run-through of the drive route. \nMorning briefing brings participants together\, breaks down barriers\, sets the tone for the day\, and invites meaningful and non-judgmental conversations and connections. The DAD community is built on the commonality of cars and driving\, and our time at briefing uses this universal leveler in a way creates conversation safety and removes confrontation. This time and what it offers is what sets DAD events apart from others. We invite you join us and experience it for yourself.  \nUsually at our briefing we are privileged to hear from Olly Bridge who shares advice\, stories and tools for noticing when mental health needs our extra attention\, and how to integrate small and achievable practices into our lives to build positive change. We consistently receive requests for more time to soak in Olly’s wise words\, so for this event\, we’ll be hosted by the excellent team at YTG where Olly will be awaiting our arrival to deliver an exclusive keynote presentation. \n \n  \nKeynote Presentation – Olly Bridge \nWe are incredibly humbled to have Olly as cornerstone of our Mental Wellness Network\, and for him to deliver a longer form presentation for our community at our Winter Drive Day is an honour. \nThe format of the 2023 Winter event has been adapted to accommodate this invaluable opportunity\, so while Olly will be a notable absence at our morning briefing\, he will be awaiting our arrival at YTG to deliver an exclusive presentation for the DAD community. Rather than an outdoor carpark gathering to hear Olly’s words\, we’ll be hosted by the team at YTG\, and this presentation will be delivered amongst a dream-worthy collection of automotive history.  \nAs a uniquely experienced Exercise Physiologist\, Olly’s career spans roles in Formula One and Olympic Gymnastics\, blended with extraordinary success in creating high performance corporate and athletic teams. Olly has harnessed the power of Sustainable Peak Performance and honed it into a dynamic methodology that extends far beyond the sports arena\, and he delivers his expertise in a style that’s relatable and memorable…we guarantee you’ll leave our day with more than a few gems of inspiration.  \nFind out more about Olly’s work via LinkedIn and his website.  \n \n  \nWe’re excited to share this very special event with you! \nPlease register below to attend our 2023 Winter Drive Day. \nWhen: Sunday 30th July 2023\nApproximate Time: Briefing to commence at 9:30am.\nStart location and briefing: Lilydale \nFinish location: Young Timers Garage (YTG)\, Keysborough\nPresentation by Olly Bridge: 11:30am \nThe full event details and drive route pack will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event.  \n  \nHow to Participate \nPop the date in your diary and gather your mates! \nRegistrations are now open\, please complete the details below. \nThe donation and registration fields are below for your use\, and event terms and conditions are at the bottom of this page. \nAs a registered charity we are proud to offer tax deductibility for your donations\, and thank you for your generosity which allows us to provide these important events. \n*If you’re interested in supporting as a DAD Local Legend or sponsor\,  please let us know in the “Additional Comments” section on the below form.  \nStep 1 – Donate \n\n\n \n\n\n  \nStep 2 – Register Your Details \nRegistration for this event is now closed. \n*Event Terms & Conditions

SUMMARY:DAD Studio Day
DESCRIPTION:Every car enthusiast wants a special photo of their pride and joy\, and with that in mind we’ve organised a very special vehicle photo shoot for the DAD community! \nDrive Against Depression has teamed up with Digital Fuel Productions and Studio Revolution to offer the unique opportunity to capture studio portraits of your vehicle.  \nStudio photography brings focus to the unique elements of your car\, free from the distractions and variables of an outdoor shoot. To organise this style of professional photography independently\, the cost of studio access\, admin\, setup\, photography\, and retouching would make it quite <a class="keys_words" href="/edfijCshop">nike air jordan 1 high og sp union bbs fd2565 100</a> the expensive photo! \n \nThis collaboration offers all of this on a professionally coordinated day at a fraction of the price of a typical studio shoot. SUMMARY:** Fully Booked** 2023 DAD Summer Drive Day
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your support! This event is now fully booked and closed for registrations. Our next drive is the DAD Autumn Drive Day on Sunday 23rd April in partnership with our good friends at Berwick Ford. Please click here to register your interest in attending and be first to receive event announcements. \n  \n— \nBring on Summer and the new year\, we’re ready for a drive! \nDAD’s much loved seasonal drives are back in 2023\, bringing opportunities for great roads\, great company and normalised conversations about mental health. \nWhat Happens at a DAD Drive Day? \nFor our community\, driving is freedom. The focus DAD events are always connection and community. \nWe use driving and the shared enthusiasm for cars and great roads as our way of connecting and escaping downward emotional spirals. We know that connection is vital for mental wellbeing – whether that’s connection with mates\, with hobbies\, or with ourselves. \nDAD drive days offer the ideal judgement-free opportunity for all-important connection and community\, and hold the intention to normalise mental health problems and mental illness\, promote conversations around these and offer pathways for seeking further support.  \nRegistered participants are provided with the drive route\, navigation notes and full event details ahead of the day. Drive days begin with a morning briefing (and optional but much welcomed coffee!) where we come together to chat through the drive plan and hear from one of our Mental Wellness Network specialists. \nAfter briefing we head off to our morning tea point by following the event drive route. Hard copy navigation notes are provided for those who prefer this format and are sharing the drive with a mate\, we also offer electronic mapping for solo drivers or those who’d prefer to focus on the driving and the chat rather than course notes. \nAt morning tea we take a break and have a chat\, then continue on to our finish point and group lunch. Lunch is the end to the set drive route\, everyone takes their own pace at lunch and makes their way home when ready. This allows enough time to enjoy the day and still be home for a Sunday evening relax or to prepare for the week ahead. \n \nWhat DAD Drive Days are Not \nCompetitive\, timed\, driven in strict convoy or exclusive.  \nDAD isn’t a club\, it’s a community. Please don’t feel you need to have a particular model or age of car to attend – if you love it\, bring it.  \nOur drive days are strictly social and non-competitive. \n \nReady? Let’s Drive!  \nRegistrations are now open for our 2023 Summer Drive Day. \nWhen: Sunday 29th January 2023 \nApproximate Time: Briefing to commence at 9:00am. Arrival is welcome any time from 8:30am. We aim to finish around 1:30pm. \nLocation: Starting from BP Southbound on the Geelong Ring Road (Calvino coffee) \nMorning Tea: Approximately 11:00am at Barwon Downs Park. Picnic space and toilets are available. Please bring a self-catered morning tea. \nLunch: Available at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie\, which is our finish point. Please indicate in your registration if you are intending to join the group lunch so we can book space accordingly. \nCrew Needed \nWe are seeking two Event Legends to volunteer for this event. This might involve selling raffle tickets at briefing\, helping welcome participants upon arrival or setting up the DAD flag\, etc.\, plus any other way in which you might like to contribute! Please reach out via connect@driveagainstdepression.com.au if you are able to support this event. \nWe look forward to cruising together! \nHow to Participate \nPop the date in your diary and gather your mates! \nRegistrations are now open\, please complete the details below. \nFor DAD to continue offering events and mental health support we gratefully welcome your donation to join this drive. \nStep 1: Donate \n\n\n \n\n\nStep 2 : Register your attendance \n\n*Event Terms & Conditions
